Repair of Front Turn Signal Fender Support Brackets
The spot welded (to the front fender) bracket under the front turn signal housing is another common corrosion sandwich. Welding the bracket/patch with a copper heat sink.
Front fender turn signal brackets usually rust through right behind the signal housings. Above the bracket has been removed and cleaned up/patched and will then be welded back to the repaired fender. Again managing to save the original brackets.
Repaired fender/bracket with new OEM turn signal light housing. These lights were still available from Toyota at the time of repair. Other after-market replacements are available but seem of lessor quality.
